PANTHEON™ Help
This chapter presents the installation of PANTHEON for remote users with terminal access.
A special form of installation are users with terminal access, where users can use solutions such as Windows Terminal Services, GoGlobal or Citrix.
The basic purpose of this solution is to simplify the installation on work stations, as they function as simple terminals (transferring the screen, keyboard and mouse clicks).
This type of installation is useful especially for companies with slower (older) work stations, environments with heterogeneous operation systems (e.g. Linux on work stations) or with employees that work outside the company (e.g. business travellers).
The data server installation is the same as with network installation onto a server. The installation on terminal work stations is the same as installation of other work stations. In this type of configuration, you can also use full work stations with PANTHEON that does not run through a terminal server with no problem.
The installation is done as follows:
1. Microsoft SQL Server
2. Downloading and Installing Microsoft Management Studio
3. Restoring Database on SQL Server
4. Adding Users to Server Level (AddUser_PAX)
5. Installing SQL for External Access
6. .ini Configuration File
7. Setting PANTHEON Clients
8. Windows Terminal Server
This concludes the installation.
