Search through Animal History Overview

The functionality of the animal history overview allows the veterinarian to review the file or examinations, treatments, vaccinations, etc., of the animal. PANTHEON VET enables easier data search, as all data from research, anamneses, diagnoses, etc., assigned to the animal are collected in one form.

In this chapter, we will present an example of searching in the animal history overview form.

TIP

You can read more about the functionality of the animal history overview in the chapter of the technical manual Animal History Overview.

CASE DESCRIPTION

The veterinarian wants to find a record for a female dog owned by Jasna Jerebičar in the Animal History Overview form. This is done through the following steps:

  1. Opening the Animal History Overview form
  2. Entering owner data
  3. Reviewing animal data

1. Opening the Animal History Overview form

The responsible person wants to find a female dog owned by Jasna Lajovec in the Animal History Overview.

For this purpose, they select the module in the menu Veterinary | Animal History Overview.

A blank form opens Animal History Overview, where the responsible person enters appropriate display criteria in the form header.

They proceed to enter owner data.

2. Entering owner data

The responsible person begins entering the owner's data in the animal history overview.

In the form header, in the field Owner they manually enter "jasna" and select her from the dropdown list Owner and Animal Registry .

TIP

Instructions for adding a new owner can be found in the chapter Adding a New Owner.

Upon selecting the owner, the fields automatically populate:

  • Last Name
  • First Name and
  • Address.

If desired, they can check the toggle  (Only Active) and the program will also search for records of inactive animals of the selected owner.

TIP

By clicking the button (Treatment) they can open a new treatment directly from this form. A user example is shown in the chapter Treatment.

3. Reviewing animal data

Similarly, upon selecting the owner in the form header, the animal data is populated in the lower part of the form.WARNING

If the owner has multiple animals registered, the appropriate animal must be selected from the dropdown list in the field

Animal .In our example, the owner has only one animal, a female dog named Poppy, so the data for this animal is displayed.

In the subchapters, you can read user examples for functionalities in the form header of the Animal History Overview:
