Advanced search

Button Advanced search allows for a more detailed search of the owner or animal in the codebook. By clicking the button, the Find owners and animals form opens.

In this chapter, we will present an example of advanced searching. The functionality is located in the menu Veterinary | Animal history overview.

CASE DESCRIPTION The receptionist wants to use advanced search for the owner and animal on the Animal history overview form. They do this by following these steps: Opening the Animal history overview form Selecting the Advanced search button

1. Opening the Animal history overview form

The responsible person wants to search for the animal history record using advanced search in the Animal history overview.

To this end, they select the module in the menu Veterinary | Animal history overview.

An empty form opens.

2. Selecting the Advanced search button

In the header of the form, the responsible person clicks on the button  (Advanced search).

The form Find owners and animals opens in the tab Simple.
