Statuses
Statuses on documents allow for the marking of documents. The basic statuses Unconfirmed and Confirmed are pre-set. Statuses can be added and edited freely. Statuses can be easily copied between documents.
In this chapter, we will present an example of setting a new status on the document type Treatment.

CASE DESCRIPTION
The responsible person in the veterinary clinic wants to set a new type of status: Completed on the document type CLI3 - Clinic. They also want to copy the status to the document CLI2 - Dentistry. They do this in the following steps:
- Selecting the Code List of document types
- Setting a new status on the document Treatment
- Transferring statuses between documents

1. Selecting the code list of document types for the document Treatment
The responsible person wants to open the Code List of document types for the documents Treatment - CLI3 - Clinic.
In the menu, they select Settings | Program | Document Types
In The Code List of document types they select the documents Treatments.
By clicking on
(three dots) in The Toolbar a search window opens.
From the list, in our example, they select: CLI3 - Clinic.
They click the button Confirm.

2. Setting a new status on the document Treatment
The responsible person wants to set a new status: Completed on the document Treatment - CLI3 - Clinic.
They select the tab Statuses.
They click on the field Confirmed and use the down arrow key DOWN.
A new empty row appears.
In the column No. they enter the code of the new status: Z.
In the column Name they enter: Completed.

In the column Confirmed they check the switch, which means that the status indicates confirmation of the document.
In the column Method of issuance in open customer status they select the alert display from the drop-down menu: Alert in open status or exceeding limit.

On the document Treatment - CLI3 - Clinic the status Completedis thus enabled.

3. Transferring statuses between documents
The responsible person wants to copy the newly created status to the document Treatment CLI2 - Dentistry.
On the document from which they want to copy the status, they select the button Transfer statuses.

In the field Document type they select from the drop-down list the document to which they want to copy the status: CLI2.
They select Transfer method: Adding.
They confirm the copying by clicking the button Copy.

Statuses from the document Treatment CLI3 - Clinic have been copied to the document Treatment CLI2 - Dentistry.
