Treating multiple animals

We treat multiple animals at the same time on the same document when the owner brings several of their animals to the veterinary clinic (or in the field) for examination or treatment by the veterinarian. The veterinarian enters all information on one treatment document, for each animal separately.

In this chapter, we will present an example of creating a new treatment for multiple animals at once. The functionality is located in the menu  Veterinary | Codes | Owner and animal codes.

TIP

For more detailed information about the program forms, read in the PANTHEON VET Guide, in the chapter Treating multiple animals.

CASE DESCRIPTION

The owner Peter Pritlikavi brought a dog and a cat to the veterinary clinic for regular vaccinations. The responsible person searches for the owner and both animals in the program. The veterinarian will create a group treatment document, where they will subsequently complete the weighing data. The procedure for creating a treatment document for multiple animals follows.

WARNING

If the owner is not yet registered in the PANTHEON VET program, the responsible person first registers the owner, then the animal. For more detailed instructions, read in the chapter Adding a new owner.

  • Clicks the button Treating multiple animals.

  • A form opens Add animals for treatment.

TIP

If there are many animals on the list, the user can sort the list. Read more in the chapter Treating multiple animals.

  • The responsible person in the column selects the animals (orange checkmark) that the veterinarian will treat on the treatment document for multiple animals.

  • Clicks the button Add.

  • A form opens Select treatment.

  • In the field Veterinarian the responsible person selects the veterinarian who will treat the animal from the dropdown list. In our case, they select: Valentin Veterinarian.

  • In the field Last. doc. they select the type of document from the dropdown list where the document will be created. In our case, they select: CLI3.

  • Clicks the button Confirm.

  • A form opens Treatment, in our case the form: CLI- Clinic.
