6VL - Animal Printout - Basic Information

Printout 6VL - Animal Printout - Basic Information enables the printout of basic animal information. The printout displays basic information about the owner and the animal (ID, name, gender, type of animal, category, breed, status, and animal's birthday).

The printout is available on theform Owner and Animal Printout, by clicking the button  (Printouts) in the toolbar.

Below, we have prepared an example of a basic animal information printout for you.

EXAMPLE DESCRIPTION The responsible person wants to create a printout with basic animal information for the owner Adam Chihuahua, a female dog named Lisa, from the Owners and Animals Directory. 1. Owner and Animal Printout Window

The responsible person wants to print basic animal information for the owner Adam Chihuahua, a dog named Lisa.

Access the directory through the menu Veterinary | Directories | Owners and Animals Directory.

Open the form Search Owners and Animals using the key combination CTRL + F or by clicking the button  (Search).

In the field Search String enter: adam. Once positioned, click the button Select.

TIP A detailed procedure for searching for an owner is described in the chapter Searching for an Owner or Animal in the Directory.

The Owners and Animals Directory opens on the record of the selected animal owner.

In the toolbar click the button  (Printouts).

The window Owner and Animal Printoutopens.

In the section Criteria the field Owner: Adam Chihuahua is automatically filled.

If the owner has one animal entered in the Owners and Animals Directory the fields Animal ID and Nameare also automatically filled. 

In our case, they are filled with information about the dog Lisa.

Proceed with selecting the type of printout.

2. Type of Printout

They want to print basic animal information.

In the section Type of Printout the responsible person opens the tab Animals | Basic Information and clicks or selects the type of printout: 6VL - Animal Printout - Basic Information (as shown in the image below).

Proceed with the printout.

3. Animal Printout - Basic Information

The responsible person opens the printout preview by double-clicking the selected type of printout or by selecting the type of printout and clicking the button  (Printout).

The program opens the printout window for the selected printout: 6VL - Animal Printout - Basic Information.
