Work records – main list

The list displays the entered work obligations of an employee. By default, the entries for the logged user are displayed, and the period is by default set to the current month until the present day.

By using the Search engine or the Attendance tab, you can select the display for the desired employee or period.

IMPORTANT

For the editing, or the display of work records, the user must have the proper authorisations.

 

HINT

For practical use cases of recording, editing and exporting the work hours, etc., see the User Manual.

 

HINT

In the upper left corner, there is the Close all/Open all button, which shows or hides all entries, so that only dates or all the work obligation entries are seen.

In the upper right corner of the list, there is the Show/hide columns option, which enables the selection of the displayed columns. Available are the following columns:

 

The work records list displays the following data:

(Date) – Today

The date of the entered work obligation.

(Date) – Day (planned hours)

Displays the planned work hours arrangement. This means that the employee can check which shift they are assigned to (morning, afternoon, night shift, etc.) for any day in the future.

The planned work hours are entered for previous days as well.

IMPORTANT

The conditions for the display of the planned work hours are:

  • In the selection of columns, the Planned hours option is selected.
  • In the search engine (filter), a date or period in the future is selected.
  • In Settings | Work records | Work schedule, the appropriate schedule is selected and the start date is entered in the Schedule field.

Work obligation

Displays the icon and the name of the work obligation in the line.

The work records list can be modified and defined in Settings | Work records | Work obligations.

(Note)

A note is displayed when the mouse is hovered above the line.

By clicking the note icon, a window will open up, where a note for an individual work obligation can be entered, and is later displayed in the line.

 (Start – End)

Each line in the work records shows the start and end time of the work, and its duration.

The sum for each day separately is also displayed; the actual hours (left) and the accounted hours (right).

By hovering the mouse over it, the balance for each work obligation is displayed.

The start and end time can be changed by the user with the proper authorisations.

IMPORTANT

The time display depends on the language settings of the browser (in Chrome chrome://settings/languages). If English is selected (United States of America), the time will be displayed with AM/PM.

 

A use case of settings without the AM/PM display:

(Duplicate)

Duplicates the entire line. The Duplicate button is visible with the proper authorisations.

(Delete)

Deletes the entire line. The Delete button is visible with the proper authorisations.

(Balance)

By hovering the mouse above the information icon, the sum total for every day, with the balance between planned hours, actual hours and accounted hours, will appear.

(Add line)

The Add line button is visible with the proper authorisations. It adds a new line or work obligation.
