PANTHEON Setup Wizard

Using the PANTHEON setup wizard, the person responsible completes all the settings step-by-step, following the program instructions.

The steps for local PANTHEON installation that are described below are meant for existing and new PANTHEON users.

The wizard will install the following on your work station:

  • Microsoft SQL Server Express 2019
  • PANTHEON server
IMPORTANT
  • The PANTHEON Installation package is located at this website: https://ftps.datalab.si/demo/
  • Sort the data by date descending, by clicking the Last modified button.

  • From the list, select the file with the adequate structure Install SQL_SI_, where the last numbers signify the version of the program to which the host is currently upgraded (as in the example below, Install SQL_SI_1003820.exe).

*Note: Copy all internet (http) links from these instructions to a new tab on your browser.

2.1. Welcome to DATALAB Pantheon 10 setup

In the first step, the wizard only greets the user, so the person responsible clicks Next.

2.2. License agreement

In the second setup step, the person responsible accepts the license agreement, if they agree with it. The person responsible checks the I accept the license agreement checkbox and clicks Next.

2.3. Setup type

In the third step, the person responsible has to ENTER THE NECESSARY INFORMATION! The setup wizard asks the user to enter the desired user name, name od the company (e.g. DATALAB SI) and a short name of the company, which will serve as the name of the database, which is why it must not contain any spaces (e.g., DATALAB).

2.4. License type

In the fourth step, the person responsible selects the license type and then clicks the Next button.

3. Program login

If the person responsible left the checkbox to run PANTHEON after installation in the last installation step checked, the PANTHEON login window will open. The person responsible enters the user – AD into the login window, but leaves the password field empty and checks the database login by clicking the Logon button.

If the person responsible wants to set the password, the person responsible clicks the key – on the right side of the password field.
