Subject Documents

The Subject Documents tab of the Documents form allows you to review and compare two documents from the same subject. The tab displays all documents of selected document's subject and opens additional Document preview for comparison.

See the exaple of use below.

Case summary

The person responsible wants to compare received invoices from subject EU_OSHA. They open a document they want to compare and select Subject document tab. In the tab they select documents to compre them with primary document. They do this following these steps:

  1. Opening the primary document
  2. Opening Subject documents
  3. Comparing the documents

1. Opening the primary document

The person responsible opens the Documents form.

They search for the document using Filters. In the field Subject, they select EU-OSHA and click on  (Filter documents) button.

All documents from this subject are displayed in the Documents table.

They open a document 23-DMS0-000016 by clicking on it.

2. Opening Subject Documents

They click on the Subject Documents tab.

All documents of selected subject are displayed in the tab and additional Document preview window opens on the left side.

3. Comparing the documents

The person responsible selects the document for comparison from the Subject documents tab and proceeds to compare the in the previews.

In our case, they compare document 23-DMS0-000009 to primary 23-DMS0-000016.
