Creating new user

PANTHEON

PANTHEON Users must have their user settings properly configured. In this chapter, we’ll look at an example of how to create a new PANTHEON user. We will set up a username, password, and adjust the basic settings.

Case summary

In the company, we have a new employee, and we would like to grant them access to the PANTHEON program. In the Administrator Console, we create a new user and configure their basic settings. This is done in next steps:

  1. Creating new user
  2. Selecting new user Subject and Contact person
  3. Setting up password
  4. Selecting user licenses and roles

1. Creating new user

The responsible person in the Administration Panel selects User and groups | Users.

On the Settings tab, they select the New user button.

A blank form for creating a new user opens.
In the Username field, he enters the name of the new user that will be used to log into the program.

2. Selecting new user Subject and Contact person

In the Subject field, select the user's company, and in the next step, select the Contact/Clerk person.

Hint

Both the company and the contact person must be created in the Subject register.

3. Setting up password

By clicking on Set Password, a new window opens where he enters and confirms the user's login password.

4. Selecting user licenses and roles

In the Licenses field, he selects the license that the new user will use from the drop-down menu.

Since this is an operational user – a worker who is not an administrator – he leaves the Server roles empty and select Reader/Writer/Executer under Database roles.

Hint

For more information about user roles, refer to the technical manual.

He saves the new user by clicking the  (Save) button.

New user can now login into PANTHEON.
