Let us for example take a look when a supplier delivers you goods including serial numbers. In order to monitor receiving, issuing and any possible complaints as well as service provided for this item, you should collect serial numbers.

Select type S - One s/n is One Piece for serial number tracking in the Items register.

The serial number can be:

 1. Receiving

After having entered the quantity received, a window for entering serial numbers is opened.

Enter serial numbers one by one:

Clicking 000426.gif in the document for receiving you can view the panel containing copied or entered serial numbers.

2. Issue

After having entered quantity of issue, a window for viewing and selecting serial numbers for issue is opened. On the right-side you can see available serial numbers and on the left-side serial numbers that you linked with the issue document.

Serial number for issuing can be selected by double-clicking an available serial number: by doing this you link it with the issue document.

When you exceed the required amount of serial numbers, a message appears:

You can also enter serial numbers to the field that can be found on the right side of the panel. If the given serial number is not available, the following error is returned:

You can view and check availability of serial numbers in the Items register.

000001.gif Having selected autoassigning in the document type of issue, serial numbers get assigned automatically in the ascending order.
000001.gif You can delete individual records in the window for entering serial numbers (and thus serial numbers) by using the following 005059.gif 005054.gif key combination.
