Try to find subjects using a right-click menu function which makes it easier for you to find them. Just set criteria or combination
of criteria to perform search.

You need NOT use the "%"  sign with this function (see the topic covering wildcard characters) for general search in the name and address fields. Fields from the Subjects register are used as criteria.

Search Criteria

Enter any of the following criteria:

Auto-Refresh	Check it, if you want the overview (list) to be updated promptly when any change is made in search criteria. If left unchecked, the entered criteria is considered only after you move to the next field for entering criteria using the mouse or TAB key.
Select and Close	After launching the function for finding subjects in a document and having set criteria, move to one of the lines from subjects list and click Select and Close. The selected subject is moved to the field in the selected form. The subject can be selected either by double-clicking the selected line or using the keys.
Subject	Enter any number of characters for subject's name.
Address	Enter subject's address.
Postal Area	Enter postal area code.
Tax No.	Enter subject's tax ID number.
City	Enter city.
Name	Enter second subject name.

Criteria

These are additional fields enabling you to enter two additional restrictive criteria used in search. Either use one or the combination of both criteria.

This way you can find all items beginning with the letter A:

(Field from the Subjects Register)	Set type of criteria from the dropdown:
(Operators)	Select an operator from the menu. With text fields only the equal sign (=) can be used:
(expression in the selected field of the Subjects register)	Enter the expression used in search. Use wildcard characters in expression:

List of Subjects Matching the Selected Criteria

An overview (list) of subjects matching the criteria can be modified in search parameters by using authorizations in order to meet the requirements of individual users or user groups. The following data can be observed in subjects overview:
