To create a report of product specification select Use in Parent Assemblies in the Spec Reports window and click the report button.

It is a single-level item integration (product, semi-finished product, material) in parent assemblies (specifications). The latter can be found in product specifications. Displays parent assemblies and quantities of item appearing there. You can filter by specific item types.

Here you can observe the following data:

 

Report Name Displays report name Use in Parent Assemblies as set in Document Types settings.
Item Displays ID and item of assembly part used in report.
Item Type Displays an item type.
Prim. Categ. Displays ID of primary category of item.
Sec. Cat. Displays ID of secondary category of item.
Level Displays the level of assembly in line of material. Level 0 represents the initial level of the selected specification. Level 1 represents its assebly parts, etc.
Line Displays number of line in parent product specification.
Alt. Displays alternate of line in parent product specification.
Item Displays ID of assembly product.
Name Displays a name of item.
Item Type Displays an item type.
Prim. Categ. Displays ID of primary category of product.
Sec. Cat. Displays ID of secondary category of product.
Quantity Displays standard quantity of a specific component of item. It is expressed in unit of measurement used. Or as batch for this line.
U/M Displays unit of measurement used (primary unit of measurement).
Volume Displays volume for lines in specification.
