Classifications
The Classifications register can be found under Registers | Items in the main menu.

Warning
The Classifications register has at least three functions. However, you need a valid PANTHEON license for the following operations:
- Combining items into product groups. Based on classifications, you can create different reports, like tracking sales or detecting profitability.
- Easier entering of items from a certain classification: you can predefine the accounting type, track serial numbers, warranty, and many other pieces of data, whereby you decrease the possibility for errors at opening new material codes.
- Copying data into an already created Items register when you define the item’s classification.

The window can be divided into two sections:
- Selected Classification – with action buttons.
- List of Classifications – access to list
Data for the selected classification with the following fields and action buttons:

Enable this toggle button to mark if the classification is active (in use). Disable the toggle button to mark an inactive (archived) classification. |

Category
|
This is a max. 16-character alphanumerical classification code (either a speaking code or not).

Name
|
A max. 30-character classification name.

Type
|
Type of classification – three options are predefined:
- Primary and secondary classification – default type, used for both other types.
- Primary – used only as primary classification.
- Secondary – used only as secondary classification.

Opens a new page for adding new classification. |

Delete opened classification. |
Clicking opens the classification list. The arrows allow navigation between entries.
You can search through the list in the Search field or by classification type and active Status.
Selecting Category or Name opens text details.
