Input Completed Work

On the Input Completed Work tab of the Process WO program window, you can review and input completed work to work operations of a Work Order.

The following case presents how to input data about work operations for production of semi-finished product LARA3_DOOR.

CASE SUMMARY
After finishing his work, manufacturing employee William Worker enters time used to individual work operation lines. During operation 20 – Cutting, the production came to a stop, as the machine needed to be set. William enters the hold-up into the line and confirms completed work entries. This is done as follows:
- Opening the Input Completed Work Tab in the Process WO Window
- Entering Data about Completed Work
- Reporting a Hold-Up
- Confirming Work

1. Opening the Input Completed Work Tab in the Process WO Window
To open the Process WO tool, the person responsible selects Work Order 22-6000-000019 for item LARA3_DOOR in the Process Work Orders window and clicks the
(Process WO) button.

HINT
The Process WO form can also be opened by double-clicking the WO or clicking the (Process WO) button in the WO field on individual WO lines if the WO status is Released, In Progress, Partially Finished, or Finished.
If the WO status is Planned, Open, or Reserved, the Work documentation reports form opens.

Then, the person responsible selects the Input Completed Work tab in the lower part of the window.
2. Entering Data about Completed Work
Data about completed work are entered in the lower part of the Input Completed Work tab. Completed work is reported by resources.
The person responsible selects the operation, for which data is being entered from the table. The person responsible selects the
(Insert record) button and a new empty line appears.
From the Employee Files list in the Employee field, the person responsible selects the person that carried out the operation.
In the Start and End fields, the person responsible enters start and end times of the operation. In the Time fields, data about time used is automatically entered.
The entry is confirmed by pushing the downward arrow key. The reported time is visible in the table above.

3. Reporting a Hold-Up
In case of a hold-up or longer than estimated operation time due to unforeseen circumstances, data about the hold-up can be entered to a line in Input Completed Work.
The person responsible had to fix settings of the machine while working on operation 20 – Cutting. This added 5 minutes to the time used for the operation.
Like in the previous step, the person responsible enters time used to work on the operation.
To enter the hold-up, the person responsible selects
and opens the Hold-Ups/Scrap window.
Clicking the Hold-Up ID shows the
icon. By selecting the magnifying glass, the person responsible opens the Reasons for Delay list and selects 03 – Machine Setting.
Into the Time field, the person responsible enters the hold-up duration: 5 minutes, which is 0,08h.
The entry is confirmed by pushing the downward arrow key. The hold-up time is now visible in the Hold-Up field.

4. Confirming Work
When all operations are entered, the person responsible confirms the input of completed work by selecting the Confirm Work button.
The data about completed work operations are now entered on the Work Order and visible on the tab Linked Documents – Issue – Operations.
