Price change list

Price change list is used to review changes in the prices of items. It also enables an overview of all the documents with which we changed the price.

In this chapter, we will introduce you to the price change list viewer.

CASE SUMMARY

The person responsible is looking for a price change document at the wholesale warehouse in the period from January 3 until July 26, 2023. They will search for the document in the price change list using the search criteria. This is done following the next steps:

  1. Opening the Price change list window
  2. Entering search criteria
  3. Editing price change list lines
  4. Previewing the requested price change document

1. Opening the Price change list window

The person responsible wants to access the review of the price change list.

For this purpose, they choose the Price change module and the Price change list submodule or access the window through a tab in the New price change submodule.

A window displaying the price change list opens.

2. Entering search criteria

They can search for documents in the header by all data written in the columns:

  • Document number
  • The warehouse where the price change was made
  • Date
  • Document status

In our case, the person responsible is looking for change documents in the retail warehouse, so they manually type "retail" in the Search field.

In addition to searching, documents can also be sorted or filtered as desired - by document type and time period.

In our case, they filter the documents in the Date from/date to fields, where they determine the period in which the document was created: from January 3 to July 26, 2023.

3. Editing price change list lines

In the bottom part of the window, in lines all documents which fulfil the set criteria appear.

3.1. Classifying documents

By clicking the button next to each column name in the lines , a new window will open where they can choose between sorting and filtering.

List documents can be sorted alphabetically.

3.2. Filtering documents by condition

The person responsible can filter documents by different conditions:

  • Starts with
  • Equal
  • Empty
  • Not empty
  • Contains
  • Does not contain
  • Ends with
  • Not equal

They can freely choose between conditions. Next, they open the the price change list document they have searched for at the retail warehouse.

4. Previewing the requested price change document

The requested document 23-9900-000001 can be opened by clicking on the document number or the preview button.

Clicking the button opens a list of preview options, where the person responsible can select the desired one.

In our case, they choose 289 - Price change. It then appears on the right side of the screen where the print preview will open.
