Unregistered in CRHŽ

In Slovenia, according to the law, it is necessary to register dogs in the national database CRHŽ. The data collected in CRHŽ is specified and can be imported from PANTHEON VET. When a dog is no longer alive, it is unregistered from CRHŽ.

In this chapter, we will present an example of evidence that allows the veterinarian to control the transfer of unregistration data about the dog from CRHŽ. The functionality is located in the menu  Veterinary | Codes | Code of owners and animals on the tab Dogs.

TIP

For more detailed information about the program forms, read in the Guide to PANTHEON VET, in the chapter Control of registrations and deregistrations in CRHŽ.

CASE DESCRIPTION

In the veterinary clinic, euthanasia was performed on an older and sick dog. The receptionist entered a new status for the animal in the Code of owners and animals. Now, the data must also be transferred to CRHŽ to complete the unregistration. Once the transfer is arranged, it is marked. The procedure is described below.

  • The responsible person on the tab Dogs in the field Date of unregistration enters the date of the dog's euthanasia: 11.8.2022.

  • In the field Code of type of unregistration selects from the dropdown list: 4-Euthanasia for veterinary reasons.

  • Additionally, a field appears Euthanasia in/on, where the subject is selected from the dropdown list, where the euthanasia was performed. In our case: Veterinary Faculty Ljubljana.

  • The responsible person on the tab Dogs marks the checkbox in the confirmation field Unregistered in CRHŽ. In this way, it was manually recorded that the data transfer was also arranged in CRHŽ.

WARNING

Dogs that are marked (with a checkmark) Unregistered in CRHŽ will not be included in the list for data export or preparation of the file for import into CRHŽ. Read more in the chapter Control of registrations and deregistrations in CRHŽ.
