Entry into the catalog of professional instructions

When a veterinarian makes a diagnosis, they provide the owner with professional instructions on how to handle the animal. By entering a new professional instruction into Catalog of professional instructions, we speed up the creation of the treatment event or the entry of records.

TIP

You can read more about the catalog of professional instructions in the technical manual PANTHEON VET, Catalog of professional instructions.

In this chapter, we have prepared an example of entering a new professional instruction into Catalog of professional instructions.

EXAMPLE DESCRIPTION

The veterinarian wants to enter a new record into the catalog of professional instructions. This is done through the following steps:

  1. Opening the Catalog of professional instructions
  2. Entering a new professional instruction

1. Opening the Catalog ofprofessional instructions

The responsible person selects the menu Veterinary | Catalogs | Catalog of professional instructions.

The catalog opens with pre-prepared entries of various professional instructions.

They proceed with entering a new record.

2. Entering a new professional instruction

The responsible person moves to the end of the list and, by clicking the navigation key on the keyboard  (Downor by clicking the INSERT key, creates a new position.

In the column Code, anew sequential code for the professional instruction is automatically created, which the responsible person cannot change or edit. In our example, the code created is: 39.

In the column Title they define the title of the professional instruction by manually entering: Mastitis.

WARNING

The title must be unique and MUST NOT be repeated.

A more detailed description of the professional instructions can be entered in the column Note. In our example, they enter: After milking, disinfect the teat and administer medication to the affected quarter every 12 hours until the medication is used up. Record each medication application in the DVP (veterinary procedure log) and observe the withdrawal period. In case of milk consumption/sale, we recommend testing a milk sample.

The toggle in the column A, defines whether the record of the professional instruction is active or not. When entering a new record, the toggle is automatically marked as active.

The entry of the professional instruction is saved by clicking on the navigation keys on the keyboard  (Down) and (Up).

TIP

Deleting a record or position is possible with the key combination CTRL + DELETE.
