Insemination numbers - cattle

Table on the tab Cattle in the section Entry of insemination numbers is intended for entering the range of insemination and re-insemination numbers for cattle, which are obtained by each veterinarian.

TIP

You can read more about entering insemination numbers in the PANTHEON VET Guide in the chapter Insemination numbers.

Below, we show an example of entering cattle insemination numbers.

example description

The responsible person wants to enter insemination numbers for cattle for the veterinarian Valentin Veterinar in the settings for veterinarians. This is done through the following steps:

  1. Opening Settings for Veterinarians
  2. Entry of cattle insemination numbers

1. Opening Settings for Veterinarians

The responsible person wants to enter insemination numbers for cattle for the veterinarian Valentin Veterinar.

In the menu, they select Veterinary | Codes | Settings for Veterinarians.

In the section Entry of insemination numbers the program automatically switches to the tab Cattle.

They proceed with entering insemination numbers for cattle for veterinarian Valentin.

2. Entry of cattle insemination numbers

At the top of the window, they click on the veterinarian, Valentin Veterinar, for whom they want to enter numbers in the section Entry of insemination numbers .

Below are empty fields where they start entering data:

  • In the field Insem.Cattle from they enter the initial insemination number: 100000.
  • The field  Insem.Cattle to is intended for entering the final insemination number. In our example, they enter: 100100.
TIP

If the number already exists in the record table or the number is smaller than the initial number, the program reports an error.

  • In the field Used Cattle data about already used cattle numbers by the veterinarian is entered. When entering numbers for the first time, the number of used cattle numbers in this field is marked with / as shown in the image below.

They proceed with entering re-insemination numbers:

  • In the field Re-insem.Cattle from they enter the initial re-insemination number: 200100.
  • The field Re-insem.Cattle to is intended for entering the final re-insemination number. In our example, they enter: 200200.
TIP

If the number already exists in the record table or the number is smaller than the initial number, the program reports an error.

  • In the field Used Re-insem data about already used re-insemination numbers by the veterinarian is entered.
