Settings for eMessages

Customers can be notified about a received order, reminded of an arranged appointment, notified about a special sales offer, etc., via SMS, Viber or email.

The notification process is controlled by predefined workflows.

The following steps are needed for the business processes connected with SMS, Viber and email notification services to work:

1. Activating the eMessages Notification service

To send messages, the eMessages service must be activated beforehand.

For more information read chapter Activating the eMessages Notification Service

WARNING

Activating the eMessages notification service is a one-time process. If you have already completed it, you can skip this step.

2. Importing the eSMS service Mailbox

The exchange of SMS notifications using the predefined workflows takes place in the eSMS service - Viber Mailbox, which can be downloaded via Web service to the register.

3. Importing the business process via Web service

The eWorkflow import is described in the chapterTransferring eWorkflow via PANTHEON Web Service.

The following workflows are needed for the eMessages service to work:

  • eMessages - Viber
  • eMessages SMS
  • eMessages Viber with an attachment (in development)
WARNING

Import of the business process is a one-time process. If you have already completed it, you can skip this step.

4. Entering the telephone number, Viber number and email information into the Subjects register

To ensure that SMS messages are successfully sent to subjects, the Subjects | General tab must have the telephone number, Viber number and email of the subject, where notifications will be sent to.

HINT
  • For PANTHEON VET license users the imput of contact numbers and email is more detailed. See the chapter Entering an animal owner chapter.
  • In order for the program to send a message to the owner, the checkbox next to the Mobile imput field must be selected. This signifies that the owner consents to SMS messaging notifications.
