Copying existing TM menu settings

This chapter describes how to copy an existing TM menu in POSX issue document.

HINT

Touch menus are the original method of creating numerous virtual buttons from fewer physical inputs. For example, buttons that indicate a product, a group of products by classification, and so on.

Case summary

The person responsible from sales wants to copy one of the touch menus and make some minor changes. This is done as follows:

  1. POS Touch Setup
  2. Copying Records

1. POS Touch Setup

The person responsible selects Settings | POS | Pos touch setup, where all the menus are listed.

Firstly, the person responsible selects the desired menu that is going to be copied, and clicks the  button.

2. Copying Records

After selecting the menu, a confirmation window appears:

To copy the menu, the person responsible clicks the OK button, which opens a new window for defining the settings for the new menu. The process ends when the person responsible defines all the necessary touch menu settings for the new menu and clicks the OK button to save changes.

Warning

To set the touch screen, the touch screen setting must be active in the document type.
