Calendar

A company can have one or multiple calendars, depending on the size and the structure of a company.  A company calendar can be set for the whole company, where there are tracked public holidays, determined working days, collective holidays, etc.

You can set various calendar entry types for specific days. At first you usually create a global calendar for the entire company. For example to check company resources, e.g. for a long-term plan, determine working days and holidays for a specific period.

By using calendar entry types you can define working days, holidays and other types of work types in your own suitable way.

In the register of Calendar Entry Types you can define entry types that  you would like to enter in this calendar.  In the register select the Company (holidays, etc.) option.

In the drop-down menu of the Company header you can access departments of your company. If you select a certain department, the program will display its calendar.

WARNING

If the absence (e.g.collective leave) apllies to the whole company, it can be inserted from the main company calendar.  If Save to Child Calendars is selected, then the leave is transferred to all employees connected to this department.  At the same time a confirmation message is displayed:

3. Calendar Structure

To set a  calendar structure, use commands in the wizards menu in taskbar - that is, set calendar entry types for specific days.

For easier setting of multiple calendars, the working hours of a specific calendar can be copied for easier setting of a new, child calendar.

Hint
