In order to change work order status select Change WO Status in Process Work Orders.
Statuses can be changed only for work orders assigned P - Planned, O - Open, I - Reserved, R - Released and Z - Complete status. Work orders which were assigned reversed status do not appear here.
Select a work order from the bottom section and select Change WO Status from wizards menu. By doing so you open a window where you can set criteria in order to more precisely set work order whose status you want to change (when clicking the command you have to be select a work order).
By clicking Refresh work orders matching the set criteria appear listed in a special panel.
Status

Allocations |
Custom set box where you can select a mode of hard allocations of quantities for issuing to work order. It appears only when you select I - Reserved or R - Released as new status and having checked Hard Allocation of Work Orders.
- None- Change work order status without allocated quantities.
- Partially - Select it in order to partially allocate quantities in work order.
- All - Allocates an entire work order

Check work order status in order to restrict selection of work orders, that is, P - Planned, O - Open, I - Reserved, R - Released:
If you select E - Partially Complete as new work order, then you can restrict selection only by work orders with the following status:

A List of Work Orders
Having selected work order criteria for changing status click Refresh listing work orders matching the criteria you set.
Check work orders for which you want to change status. Having selected work orders click Change to commit status change.
Sel. |
If checked, displays a work order whose status will be changed. By right-clicking you can select or deselect all work orders on the list.

ALLOCATIONS
- None - IF selected, you can change work order status to I - Reserved or R - Released without allocated quantities.
- Partially - If selected, a partially allocated quantities are possible meaning that allocation must be performed in at least one work order line. Otherwise the status will not be changed, that is, the work order is removed from the list.
- All - If selected, allocates the entire WO meaning that allocation must be performed in ALL lines. Otherwise the status will not be changed, that is, the work order is removed from the list. .
Changing WO Status
Having set parameters and selected appropriate work orders, launch procedure for changing statuses by clicking Change.
Because work orders appearing in panel are assigned various statuses, the procedure depends on how you set it in dropdown in New Status. With some work orders you just change status whereas with some you have to perform hard allocations for issuing and still for others you have to release allocated quantities,...
