Component Integration in Assemblies

Component Integration in Assemblies

Right-click the Product Specification window and select the Use in Assemblies function to view individual components in specification.

 

You can right-click the Product Specification window and select it from the menu.         Or right-click spec structure tree.

                                          

 

 

  

 

 

Criteria

Component Enter or select a component ID used in assemblies.

 

000001.gif Then it looks up component across all lines of specification or in tree-structured specification data.

Data in Table Lines:

Component Displays a component ID used in assemblies.

 

Level Displays a level of component integrated in specification of product or semi-finished product. Level 0 represents initial component level of the selected specification. Level 1 represents assembly level, etc.
Label Displays a label of component integrated in specification of product or semi-finished product.  
Line Displays a number of line in parent specification of product or semi-finished product.

 

Alt. Displays a number of alternate line in parent specification of product or semi-finished product.
(Semi-)Product Displays an ID of product or semi-finished product where the component is integrated. Only items including product specification are displayed here.

 

Double-click this field to open product specification of product or semi-finished product where the component is integrated.

Name Displays a name of product or semi-finished product where the component is integrated.

 

U/M Displays a unit of measurement used (primary unit of measurement).
Item Type Displays an item type.
Prim. Cat. Displays an ID of primary category.
Sec. Cat. Displays an ID of secondary category.

 

Report

You can use the Use of Component in Assemblies window for quick overview of integrated components. There are two predefined reports 429 - Use in parent assemblies and 40A - Collective use in parent assemblies in the Spec Reports window. Set criteria and generate report.
