Authorization for Costing

Costing Authorizations

You can assign write (broadest) or zero (narrowest) authorizations when determining the level of authorization. If the user is assigned zero authorizations for costing and is fully authorized for accessing other branches:

  • the Costing section of the Items register is not visible, and sale price markup is not displayed in the Pricing section.
  • the last average item price is not visible in the Stock panel.
  • the stock value and last average item price are not displayed when clicking the Stock button in goods document (for more information see Using Stock Button in invoices issued).
  • the movements and quantities are displayed in the warehouse card report. However, valuation prices are not displayed.
  • the quantities are displayed in Current Stock. However, valuation prices are not displayed.
  • the valuation price is not displayed in lines of invoice issued and transfer. In addition the valuation price and maximum discount are not displayed in lines of POS issue.
  • the Gross margin analysis is not visible in sales orders (that is, the panel is inactive).
  • the Gross margin analysis is not visible in issued invoices (that is, the panel is inactive).
  • the Price Calculation box is not visible in Costing/Pricing (for detailed treatment see Price Calculation in issued invoices).
