Creating EM
Creating Expert Model (EM)
We have two options for creating EM`s: manually and automatically (by importing from Web Service).
1. Manually
Process of creating EM decribed in Navigator.
In this case, we have to enter the name of EM to Codebooks for Item. The name of EM is usually the same as the name of the Product.
When creating new EM it is important that on Item are already set following:
- ID
- Name
- Primary Category (Primary category points within which module (CROP, FRUI&NUTS, GRAPES, GRASS) expert model will be seen)
- Secondary Category
- Item type
- VAT
- Primary U/M

 |
Expert model is always an Item.
a) In order to create new EM, new Item should be added
b) EM could be determined for agriculture species (BARLEY, CORN, ..) or agriculture variety (BARLEY "REX", CORN "FANTASTIC", ..) or additional agriculture variety clones or hybrids (CORN "FANTASTIC var. 145"). The level of expert model specification is an individual farmer decision due to his evaluation how specified further analysis he needs. Naming of EM is also individual decision. A proposal is that the Name of EM indicates last naming within plant hierarchy: Species - variety- clones which are important for producers.

When all important data for the Item are defined, creation of Expert model version can start by Selecting particular Item ( within Navigator )

When we create EM manually we have to enter all data manually or we can use button Wizard
and create new EM by copying EM from other Product. How it works, we can read in user manual for Navigator.

2. Automatically importing EM`s
In Farming we also have functionality which allows us to import EM`s from Web service into the database. The function can be activated in Administration panel - Settings - Farming - Agronomy - Expert model. - Import Expert models. In this case, EM`s in module Expert Models are created automatically.
Imported exert model versions are red coloured and read-only. By creating a duplicate an editable expert model version is created to individual concrete requirements.

There is option to copy and duplicate versions of expert models. How it works, can read in user manual for Navigator.
Mendatory inputs on mask for Expert Model are:
- Version Name
- Begining From
- Begining To
- Harvesting To
- Expected middle value
- Task
- Task Date
- Needed time (h/ha)
