When using the proportional interest rate it is not wise to use this option since it will not be considered in calculation!

5. Show Overpayments with Actual Due Dates and Calculate Overpayment Interest As Well As Decreased Principal by Overpayment Interest

As can clearly be observed, you DO NOT CHANGE THE TIME PERIOD DESIGNATED FOR INTEREST CALCULATION by using this function, but only the reported date period for the first interest-bearing period.
