Deadlines

The Deadlines form allows you to review capacity load and utilization analysis of resources in production. Resource load can be reviewed according to criteria in three different ways. Additionally data can be transferred to Ad-Hoc analysis.

The form can be accessed from the menu Manufacturing | Work Orders and by selecting Wizards | WO Scheduling | WO Schedule from the toolbar.

Below is a description of form's features.

1. Buttons

In this section there are buttons for data refresh and transfer to ad-hoc analysis.

 (Show/Hide Criteria) By clicking this button, you can show or hide the Criteria section of the form.
Refresh Data By clicking this button, the data is refreshed and shown in Resource Load section, according to criteria set in Criteria section of the form.
Transfer to Ad-Hoc Analysis By clicking this button, the data is transferred to Ad-Hoc analysis.

2. Criteria

In this section, criteria can be set.

Period From Enter a start date of the period.
(Period) To Enter an end date of period.
WO From  Select the first WO key.
(WO) To Select the last WO key.
Customer Select a customer on a WO, from the Subjects register.
Plan Select a document key of a Plan.
Main Resource If enabled, only data of a main resources (without secondary resources) are displayed.
(Parent) WO From  Select the first WO key of a parent WOs.
(Parent WO) To Select the last WO key of a parent WOs.
No Parent WO

If enabled, WO levels won't be taken into consideration.

Also following fields are not visible:

  • (Parent) WO From
  • (Parent WO) To
  • All Parents
  • All Children
  • Include Parents
  • All Linked
All Parents If enabled, all parent WOs will be considered.
All Children If enabled, all child WOs will be considered.
Include Parents If enabled, parent WOs will also be included in selection.
All Linked

If enabled all linked WOs will be considered.

Also following fields are not visible:

  • All Parents
  • All Children
  • Include Parents
Item Select a product ID from the Items register.
Name Select a product name from the Items register.
Prim. Cat. Select a product primary category.
Sec. Cat. Select a product secondary category.
WO Status Select WO statuses.
Item Types Select item types.
Document Types Select WO document types.

3. Resource Load

In this section, there are resource load data according to criteria set in Criteria section, displayed in three tabs.

3.1. Resources

In this tab, there are data about resource load displayed in a table.

Resource Displays the resource ID from Resources register.
Name Displays the resource name from Resources register.
Work From Displays the resource work from time from Resources register.
Work To Displays the resource work to time from Resources register.
Capacity Displays the resource capacity from Resources register.
Planned Time Displays the overall planned production on the resource.
Cycle Time Displays the planned production for the cycle on the resource.
Occupied (%) Displays the occupation of the resource in percentage.
Available (%)

Displays the availability of the resource in percentage.

 

3.2. Graphically

In this tab, the resource occupancy is displayed graphically.

Resources are displayed on the X (horizontal) axis. Quantity of products is displayed in Y (vertical) axis.

Planned time is displayed in red and resource capacity is displayed in blue.

 

3.3. Timetable

In this tab, the resource occupancy is displayed in time table.

Resources Resources are displayed on the left side vertically.
Time Time is displayed on the top horizontally.
Calendar On the right side, there is a calendar, where a date can be chosen.

 

Hint

With right-mouse click there are various option to edit the view in the timetable, such as time periods, Gantt chart, editing resource layout, etc.
