Documents

Adding documents to a Bill of Materials is a useful tool, as it enables an easy and swift view into selected documents to all PANTHEON users in the company throughout the entire manufacturing process.
The following case describes how to add a picture document with instructions for using the LARA3 tent to the Basic Bill of Materials in PANTHEON.

CASE SUMMARY
Marc Manufacture wants to add instructions for using the LARA3 tent and check whether the document is successfully uploaded. The instructions are in a picture file format. This is done as follows:
- Opening a Basic BOM
- Uploading a New Document
- Reviewing Documents
|
1. Opening a Basic BOM
The person responsible for opening the Basic BOM selects Settings | Manufacturing | BOMs | Basic BOM. The program opens the BOM of the first item alphabetically.
Using the search table, the person responsible finds the BOM of item LARA3 (created in this case).
2. Uploading a New Document
The person responsible for uploading a new document selects the Documents tab. In the lower part of the form, the person responsible selects the Files tab and clicks the Add Document button. The Scanning tool opens, where the person responsible opens the explorer by clicking the Import Document icon and selecting a document from a local computer folder.

When the file is successfully uploaded and displayed on the form, the person responsible clicks the Confirm button to upload the file to PANTHEON.
3. Reviewing Documents
When the document is uploaded, it can be seen under the Documents tab. Selecting a document opens a preview.
