Errors in Posting by Using Templates

Some checks are run before reports are created and/or calculated data are posted. There can appear the following error messages:

 

Message Cause
No data to post! This check is run before posting. The data value which were calculated to be posted are equal 0. That is why the posting is not performed! 

OPen template settings and check formulas. Perhaps  you selected report parameters (dates, etc.) incorrectly. It is also possible that data for the selected period have been already posted.

Journal entry not balanced! This check is run before posting. It is actually carried out only if you selected the Must be Balanced type of balance check for document type used in posting.
Data in posting to the debit and credit side are not equivalent, that is, the journal entry is not balanced. Subsequently the posting is not performed.
Error in line - XX This check is run before creating the report and posting. Syntax error in formula settings is displayed in the line of the message.
The posting is subsequently not performed.
The Date to of the accounting period must be defined! This check is run before creating the report and posting. Data on end period date as used in journal entries is mandatory in operations of the R - Revaluation type. Otherwise the calculation is not correct.
Enter end period date.
"Due Date to" must be defined! This check is run before creating the report and posting. Data on end period date as used in journal entries is mandatory in operations of the I - Interest type. Otherwise the calculation is not correct.
Enter end due date.

 

Errors appearing when checking post in journal entry line are displayed in the Errors panel, according to the required checks of Chart of Accounts:
