Links

The Links Tab provides a clear summary of the sale-related details of a Fixed Asset or Small Tool. It becomes relevant once an asset has been sold, displaying key financial and transactional information. This tab is read-only and ensures traceability between the asset and its sale.

The Links Tab can be accessed in the Fixed assets, Small Tools and Register-Fixed Assets in Acquisition registers.

Hint

Examples of how to use Links tab are described on the corresponding pages of the User Manual.

Links Tab consists of the following functional units, which are read-only:

Invoice number Displays the internal reference number for the invoice generated during the sale of the asset. Double-clicking the field opens the full invoice record, allowing review of its details, such as dates and payment terms.
Subject

Name of the customer or company (Subject) to whom the asset was sold.

Double-clicking on the field opens the Subjects register.
Amount due Shows the total invoiced amount still outstanding, including VAT.
Value Shows the sale value of the asset excluding VAT. It represents the agreed sale price of the asset alone, without additional taxes.
Sales date Indicates the official date when the asset was sold. This is important for accounting, reporting, and tracking asset lifecycle events.

Hint

For more information about invoice links, refer to Links.
