Sales reports and overview

In the tab Goods, you will find a set of main reports for sales analysis:

CASE SUMMARY
Sally Sales, Head of Wholesale at Tecta, wants to analyze the company's sales. This is done as follows:
- Selecting the report type
- Reporting on customers' sales margins
- Transferring data for advanced analysis

1. Selecting the report type
The person responsible wants to see the margin, that is the difference between the purchase and selling prices for their customers.
For this purpose, the person responsible selects the report Analysis by customers - summary, which is accessed in in the menu Goods | Invoices issued report | Invoices issued/profit margin report.
The window Invoices issued/profit margin report opens.
2. Reporting on customers' sales margins
Then, the person responsible selects the tab Profit margin, which consists of the section Report type, where different reports are available, and the sections Criteria, Document types and Item types, which are used to set the desired limiting criteria.
The person responsible wants to see the profit margin by customer in the current year.
For this purpose, the person responsible selects the report type 295 - Analysis by customers - summary. In the field Packing slip from, the person responsible enters the date "1.1.2022", uses the right-click in the section Document type and chooses the option Select all to select all document types to create the report. In the same way, all Item types are selected.

Clicking the button Report creates the desired report. The report is displayed on the screen, as shown in the image below.

The person responsible can now see the sales margins by customer in the report. The company's total margin for the period was 24.333,55 EUR or 104.13%.
In the toolbar, the button
(Print) is clicked and the document is printed for review.
3. Transferring data for advanced analysis
For all reports, where the button Transfer to Ad-hoc analysis is displayed, data can be transferred to an Ad-hoc analysis for an even more detailed and customized data analysis.
