Treatment
The veterinarian in the animal treatment process records key data about the history, diagnosis, current measurements (status praesens), and adds professional instructions to the owner on how to care for the sick animal. The veterinarian can also write a note for internal use or communication among veterinarians if multiple people are involved in the treatment.
In this chapter, we will present an example of entering data about the treated animal in the tab Treatment. The fields are located on the treatment documents, which we access in the menu Veterinary | Treatment, on the document tab Treatment and sub-tab Treatment.

CASE DESCRIPTION
The veterinarian received a dog named Ado for examination in the clinic. The owner, Adriana Azorski, described that the dog is not eating, is lying down a lot, is tired, and is in a bad mood. The veterinarian examined him, measured his temperature, breathing, pulse, and weight. He also decided to take a blood sample. The data about the examined animal was entered into the treatment. This was done according to the following steps:
- Creating a treatment document for the animal
- Entering data about the condition of the animal in the Treatment tab
|
1. Creating a treatment document for the animal
The responsible person creates a treatment document, where they select the owner and the animal that is in the treatment process.
The detailed procedure is described in the chapter Entering treatment (general).
In our case, the responsible person creates Treatment: 23-CLI3-000006.

- In the field Veterinarian's note writes: Hematology - after obtaining the results, we will specify the diagnosis. After introducing antibiotics, a follow-up check is suggested in 3 days.
