Production

Work orders are processed whenever any changes occur and by confirming actual material consumption. After selecting one of the released work orders and clicking Production from the wizards menu, a window is opened where you can change quantity used and even add new items and delete unused work orders or replace them. You can also create and display work order and assembly order reports.

There are two types of processing. Using one you process work order for an item with assigned serial number, and using the other you process an item without serial number. The only difference between the two methods used is in a slightly different form used for processing work orders. That is, work orders for items with serial numbers include a corresponding field.

Whenever processing work orders you have to be careful to first process the lowest-level work order (WO for B, WO for C) and then proceed to the next level (WO for A). The Customer and Order fields are usually empty if you are not creating work orders from orders. |
