Reverse the Document

This chapter introduces the process of reversing a created document in the POS module.

Case summary
The person responsible, has sold 3 camping tables from the Tecta Plc. company and mistakenly added a rebate. Now the receipt must be reversed and a new one must be issued, without the rebate. This is done as follows:
  1. Opening a Document
  2. Selecting the Option Reverse (F6)
  3. Overviewing the Reversed Document

1. Opening a Document

The person responsible opens the menu Goods | Issue | POS | 3200 – POS retail.

The person responsible finds the rececipt to reverse by searching for the receipt by clicking on the three dots in the toolbar.

After clicking, a list of issued invoices is displayed.
The person rsponsible can search by different criteria, in this case, by number. From the drop-down list, the person responsible selects the last created one and also recognizes the desired receipt by date of fiscalization.

2. Selecting the Option Reverse (F6)

On the top of the panel, the person responsible selects the Reverse button or uses the keyboard shortcut F6:

After selecting, the program asks: Are you sure you want to reverse the document?

The person responsible clicks Yes. This opens the reversed document panel. The next step is clicking the Invoice payment button for the receipt to be successfully reversed.

The person reponsible selects the option Cash POS as the document payment, because this method was chosen when the receipt was first created. Finally, the person responsible clicks the Close Receipt button.

3. Overviewing the Reversed Document

After closing the receipt, the program automatically displays the receipt according to the POS settings.

Hint

For more information about reports and printing invoices, see the chapter POS settings.

Also, the person responsible can choose between different printouts.

HINT

For more information about different receipt forms, see the chapter Print document.

With this step the document has been successfully reversed.
