Security

The Security tab combines all security settings for the individual user. Here, you can copy permissions or membership from source principal to the selected user, add or remove members from groups and edit permissions for working with databases on the server.
The form can be accessed by clicking the individual user on the Users panel in Administration Panel.

The tab is made up of certain subtabs, which are described below.
- General – enables copying permissions and/or membership from other users and editing permissions for the selected user.
- Permissions – enables managing user permissions on the authorizations tree.
- Members – is an inactive tab on the individual user. The tab is active in Groups.
- Member Of – allows adding users to different user groups or removing them from these groups.
- Databases – enables copying permissions and/or memberships from user to the same user on other databases on the same SQL server instance.
