Enter serial numbers

Enter serial numbers form allows us to enter serial numbers for our products or semi-products.

Individual serial numbers can be entered manually. If the serial numbers are in regular sequence, they can be entered using Multiply function, where you can enter the criteria for creation of numbers.

HINT

Form is opened automatically, if the receiving item has serial number tracking assinged in the Items register.

Warning

The layout of buttons and cards may vary slightly, depending on the device used.

 

Below is the description of the form's features.

1. Header

This section contains the information about the item and delete button.

Item Displays the item for which the serial number is needed.
Quantity Displays the quantity of serial numbers needed.
Delete all By clicking the button, all serial numbers in Serial number list are deleted.

2. Multiply

This section allows multiplication of serial numbers.

Prefix Enter the prefix for serial numbers. All created serial numbers will start with the prefix entered. For example see the picture above.
Serial no. Enter the starting serial number. This will be the first serial number created, every next one will be bigger by a value of one (for example 12321, 12322, 12323 ...).
Quantity Enter the quantity of serial numbers to be created.
Multiply By clicking the button, serial numbers are created and displayed in the Serial number list.

3. Serial number list

This section contains created serial numbers created by using the Multiply function and option to create individual serial numbers.

Serial number Displays the serial number. In the first row, individual serial number can be added..
Quantity Displays the number of items serial number is assigned to. 
+ (Add serial number) By clicking the button you add individually created serial number in the first row to the Serial number list.
 (Delete) By clicking the button, the serial number is deleted from the list.
Cancel By clicking the button, adding  of serial numbers to the items is canceled.
Confirmation By clicking the button, linking serial numbers to the items is confirmed.
