Price change

The Price change module is used to change selling prices. Changes in the company's selling prices can occur for several reasons, e.g. an increase in the cost of materials, labour, the cost of purchasing goods, indirect manufacturing costs, etc.

In the module, we can calculate new selling prices based on different bases, write a record of price changes and update sales prices in the Item register.

HINT

You can read more about the Price change module in the Price change chapter.

In this section, we show you two use cases:

New price change

This feature in the module allows changing the selling prices of company items, e.g. when we want to change prices for all price classes. Price change is also applied when we choose a different price increase percentage in each of the price classes. In the rest of the chapter, an example of creating a new price for the item of the imaginary company Tecta is presented.

Price change list Price change list is used to review changes in the prices of items. It also enables an overview of all the documents with which we have changed prices. An example of searching for a specific price change document using search criteria is presented in the continuation.
