Certain changes hve occurred in creating payroll after 1 January 2005. For detailed treatment and things you should not miss see follow-up:

Income and Payroll Tax Rates

Upgrading the register to build 2113 fills in corresponding values for years 2005 and 2006. The nominal amoujnts are entered instead of percentage values of average salary. Of course, for calculations before 1 January 2005 the old percentage system will be used.

Reliefs

General relief

When calculating income tax, double click General relief in Administration Panel to open the corresponding register. In Reliefs you will also find nominal amounts, that is, yearly and monthly sorted by date. These amounts were added by upgrading. The old percentage system is used for calculations with due payout date before 1 January.2005.

Personal relief

Enter it in the Relief panel in Employee Files. It contains date, and monthly and yearly relief. They were not entered when upgrading. There is a Fill special relief wizard available to make everything easier. Please note that you can open wizard only once. Upon reopening it returns an error because of duplicating. The old percentage sysem is used for calculations before 1 January 2005.

Payroll Preparation

There are no changed in Payroll Preparation. You only cannot leave the Date of payout field empty. The new system will be used if you enter a date after 1 January 2005. On the other hand, the old system is used for calculations before 1 January 2005.

Contributions

The values in the Contribution Type field in Contributions have changed, though. If you entered them correcly, they will be changed accordingly after upgrade. Otherwise enter them manually. It is important to specify these fields for sake of form REK. Note that social security contributions get paid together with salaries. That is, no 6-day delay occurs. Set delay in the Days to pay field in Work Types.

REK Forms

The new year brought about a lot of changes in REK forms. New REK-1(Posted), REK-1a, REK-1d forms were created. Generally speaking, they correspond to the old REK-1 (a), REK-2, REK-3 forms. Other forms will be added if required. Before printing forms, check settings in Contributions.

Form for Sole Proprietorship

Due to changs which occurred in the Account for social security contributions for sole proprietors you have to set Work Types and Contributions anew. Since the contributions are displayed separetely and the total amount, you have to add new contributions. The best thing to do is to keep the contributions for regular work (RD) and add additional contributions for membership fees.
