000001.gif Before trying to use Plan Generator, plan lines have to be created in the corresponding panel (e.g. Sales). Plus, select whether to perform automatic planning for
  • selected line and period (click a cell), or
  • selected line and all periods (click the selected line), or
  • all lines and periods (all table is checked - click first line and hold SHIFT + down arrow key 023174.gif ).

 

Open Plan Generator Window

  1. Click 023184.gif in taskbar.
  2. Then click Plan Generator.

A plan generator window is opened.

 

Planning Using Plan Generator

  1. For example, select Customers in Subjects, Clerks panel.
  2. Optionally, check Include All, Even if Empty.
  3. If required, select Separately: e.g. Customers - selected option Separately (that, is separate for each customer).
  4. Check items to include in plan (that is, those for which it is wise to consider last year's turnover).

   5.    Repeat procedure described in step 4 in Items, Departments, Cost Centers, Warehouses, Document Types: E.g.: select Items parameter in Items panel.

   6.   Set year for which to retrieve data in Factors panel.E.g: Set year 2006.

   7. - 8.   Enter a quantity factor and value factor to correct reference value. E.g.: 0.95 - for 95% of reference value.

   9.     Click Generate.
