Documents

The Documents tab in a WO enables you to view documentation connected to production and uploading new documentation. Among the WO documentation, only the classified and selected to show on this level documentation is visible.
The following case presents how to open, view, and upload documents – in this case, an image document (as pictured below) with instructions for assembly of tent LARA3.

CASE SUMMARY
The person responsible, Marc Manufacture, wants to review documents connected with a work order and add another document. This is done as follows:
- Setting Classifications of Displayed Documents
- Opening the Document Tab
- Uploading a New Document

1. Setting Classifications of Displayed Documents
On a Work Order, only documents set to be displayed from items on the WO are visible. Displayed documents are defined by settings in the Administration Panel, in Settings | Manufacturing | Work Orders. Displayed documents are defined with the Classification Scheme.
The person responsible for setting document classifications visible on the WO selects Settings | Manufacturing | Work Orders.
In the Show item documents on WO section, the person responsible clicks the + () icon in the Classification field and selects classifications 312 – Work Program and 323 – Quality Certificate from the drop-down menu.
The person responsible confirms the choice by clicking the Confirm button.

2. Opening the Document Tab
To view details of a specific Work Order, the person responsible selects
in the Work order details window on the right. By selecting the Documents tab, the person responsible views details on the WO for item LARA3. Uploaded documents that fit the classification set in the Administration Panel are displayed.

3. Uploading a New Document
The person responsible wants to add a new document to the WO. To do this, the person responsible selects the Add Document button on the Documents tab. The Scan tool opens, where the person responsible clicks the Import document icon to open the Opening explorer.

From a local driver, the person responsible selects the desired document and clicks the Open button.

When the selected document is visible in the Scan window, the person responsible uploads the document to documentation by selecting the Confirm button.
