Entry into the diagnosis codebook

Diagnoses can be freely created based on user experience and the scope of work performed by the veterinary company. Entering a new diagnosis into the Diagnosis codebook speeds up data entry on the treatment document.

TIP

You can read more about the diagnosis codebook in the chapter of the technical manual PANTHEON VET, Diagnosis codebook.

In this chapter, we will present an example of entering a new diagnosis.

EXAMPLE DESCRIPTION

The veterinarian wants to enter a new diagnosis into the diagnosis codebook. This is done through the following steps:

  1. Opening the Diagnosis Codebook
  2. Entering a new diagnosis

1. Opening the Diagnosis Codebook

The responsible person selects the menu Veterinary | Codebooks | Diagnosis codebook.

The codebook opens with pre-prepared entries of various diagnoses.

They proceed with entering a new record.

2. Entering a new diagnosis

The responsible person moves to the end of the list and, by clicking the navigation key on the keyboard  (Downor by clicking the INSERT key, creates a new position.

In the column Code, anew sequential diagnosis code is automatically created, which the responsible person cannot change or edit. In our example, the code created is: 305.

In the column Name the name of the diagnosis is defined by manually entering into the field: TUMOR MAMAE.

WARNING

The name must be unique and MUST NOT be repeated.

A more detailed description of the diagnosis can be entered in the column Note.

The toggle in the column Adefines whether the diagnosis record is active or not. When entering a new record, the toggle is automatically marked as active.

The diagnosis entry is saved by clicking the navigation keys on the keyboard  (Down) and (Up).

TIP

Deleting a record or position is possible with the key combination CTRL + DELETE.
