Entry into the diagnosis codebook

Diagnoses can be freely created based on user experience and the scope of work performed by the veterinary company. Entering a new diagnosis into the Diagnosis codebook speeds up data entry on the treatment document.

In this chapter, we will present an example of entering a new diagnosis.

EXAMPLE DESCRIPTION
The veterinarian wants to enter a new diagnosis into the diagnosis codebook. This is done through the following steps:
- Opening the Diagnosis Codebook
- Entering a new diagnosis

1. Opening the Diagnosis Codebook
The responsible person selects the menu Veterinary | Codebooks | Diagnosis codebook.
The codebook opens with pre-prepared entries of various diagnoses.

They proceed with entering a new record.
2. Entering a new diagnosis
The responsible person moves to the end of the list and, by clicking the navigation key on the keyboard
(Down) or by clicking the INSERT key, creates a new position.

In the column Code, anew sequential diagnosis code is automatically created, which the responsible person cannot change or edit. In our example, the code created is: 305.
In the column Name the name of the diagnosis is defined by manually entering into the field: TUMOR MAMAE.

WARNING
The name must be unique and MUST NOT be repeated.

A more detailed description of the diagnosis can be entered in the column Note.

The toggle in the column Adefines whether the diagnosis record is active or not. When entering a new record, the toggle is automatically marked as active.
The diagnosis entry is saved by clicking the navigation keys on the keyboard
(Down) and
(Up).

TIP
Deleting a record or position is possible with the key combination CTRL + DELETE.
