Entry in the note codebook for withdrawal periods

Note codebook for withdrawal periods can include any number of notes, which are most commonly used when creating a treatment event if the animal is treated with a medication subject to a withdrawal period.

TIP

You can read more about the note codebook for withdrawal periods in the technical manual PANTHEON VET, Note codebook for withdrawal periods.

In this chapter, we will present an example of entering a new note for withdrawal periods into the codebook.

EXAMPLE DESCRIPTION

A veterinarian wants to enter a new note into the note codebook for withdrawal periods, stating that cow's milk is not suitable for human consumption. This is done through the following steps:

  1. Opening the Note Codebook for Withdrawal Periods
  2. Entering a new note for withdrawal periods

1. Opening the Note Codebook for Withdrawal Periods

The responsible person selects the menu Veterinary | Codebooks | Note codebook for withdrawal periods.

The codebook opens with pre-prepared entries of various notes for withdrawal periods.

They proceed with entering a new record.

2. Entering a new note for withdrawal periods

The responsible person moves to the end of the list and, by clicking the navigation key on the keyboard   (Downor by clicking the INSERT key, creates a new position.

In the column Code, anew sequential code for the withdrawal period note is automatically created, which the responsible person cannot change or edit. In our example, the code created is: 10.

In the column Title they define the title of the professional instruction by manually entering: Nursing cows.

WARNING

The title must be unique and MUST NOT be repeated.

A more detailed description of the withdrawal period note can be entered in the column Note. In our example, they enter: Cow's milk is not suitable for human consumption. For nursing cows only.

The toggle in the column A, defines whether the withdrawal period note record is active or not. When entering a new record, the toggle is automatically marked as active.

The withdrawal period note is saved by clicking the navigation keys on the keyboard  (Down) and (Up).

TIP

Deleting a record or position is possible with the key combination CTRL + DELETE.
