General

    

On the tab General we manage the basic settings of the Veterinary module. Among them are settings for Clinics, Duty, Shelter, Mandatory fields, and Cattle.

In this chapter, we will present an example of general settings.

CASE DESCRIPTION

The receptionist wants to set the general settings for the Veterinary module. She does this by following these steps: 

  1. Selecting General settings in the Administrator console
  2. Editing General settings

1. Selecting SMS Settings in the Administrator console

The responsible person selects Settings | Program | Administrator console.

The Administrator console opens.

Selects Settings | Veterinary and the tab General.

2. Editing General settings

The responsible person starts editing the general settings - Clinic.

In the field ID veterinary clinic sets the code for ID: 999.

In the field Business events for the write-off of medicines, selects the document for the write-off of medicines from the dropdown list.

TIP

By double-clicking in the field, the Document type code list opens.

In the field Duty ID selects the default ID for duty from the ID code list: DUTY.

In the field Duty percentage enters the percentage of the duty value: 80. 

In the panel Shelter checks the switch The program is used for the shelter. This displays additional functionalities in the program for the needs of shelters.

From the dropdown list Mandatory fields with switches selects the mandatory fields that we want to be filled when entering a new animal in the Owners and Animals code list: Source, Date of issue, Passport number.

In the fields Prefix of insemination and Prefix of re-insemination enters the default prefix: GOO8 0.

In Animal category settings for the purpose of filling animal categories that we export from the VOLOS portal, sets categories for cattle.

For Bull category: Bull.

For Heifer category: Calf.

For Cow category: Cow.

For the cow category, also determines After clicks months of age, the cow category should be filled on the animal ID: 24.
