Treatment of one animal

Treating an animal means that the veterinarian accepts the animal, receives information (anamnesis) from the owner about why the animal was brought in, conducts an examination, and performs the necessary treatment and vaccination activities. All information and activities, as well as the materials used, are recorded in the treatment document (the so-called 'in the file').

In this chapter, we will present an example of creating a new treatment for one animal. The functionality is located in the menu  Veterinary | Codes | Code of owners and animals.

TIP

For more detailed information about the program forms, read in the PANTHEON VET Guide, in the chapter Animal overview.

CASE DESCRIPTION

At the reception of the veterinary clinic, the responsible person searched for the owner and the animal in the Code of owners and animals. The veterinarian will create a treatment document so that they can attach the findings that were brought along. The process of creating the treatment document follows.

WARNING

If the owner is not yet registered in the PANTHEON VET program, the responsible person first registers the owner, then the animal. For more detailed instructions, read in the chapter Adding a new owner

  • In the list Animal overview clicks on the animal for which they want to create a treatment document.

  • Clicks the button Treatment of one animal.

  • A form opens Select treatment.

  • In the field Veterinarian the responsible person selects the veterinarian who will treat the animal from the dropdown list. In our case, they select: Valentin Veterinarian.

  • In the field Last. act. they select the type of document where the document will be created from the dropdown list. In our case, they select: CLI3.

  • Clicks the button Confirm.

  • A form opens Treatment, in our case the form: CLI- Clinic.
