Treatments

In the shelter, animals can be housed for longer periods due to various reasons. During this time, caregivers and veterinarians provide additional care for the animals, examinations, and in the case of acute conditions, also treatments or procedures in the veterinary clinic. All treatments for the animal are recorded, so the entire list of events is visible in the tab Treatments.

In this chapter, we will present an example of a list of treatments for a cat in the shelter. The functionality is located in the menu  Veterinary | Codes | Code list of owners and animals, tab  Shelter.

TIP

For more detailed information about the program forms, read in the PANTHEON VET Guide, in the chapter Treatments.

CASE DESCRIPTION

The cat Shiba was admitted to the shelter along with her kittens. During her stay, several different treatments were performed for her in the shelter. The on-duty veterinarian wants to check the activities that have been carried out so far in the treatments of the cat Shiba. The procedure is carried out with the following steps:

  1. Searching for the animal code
  2. Reviewing data in the Treatments tab

1. Searching for the animal code

The responsible person searches for the cat's code on the list Animal review

The image shows the sought result for the cat Shiba.

2. Reviewing data in the Treatments tab

The responsible person clicks on the selected cat code, then clicks on the tab Shelter and then the sub-tab Treatments, where they see the complete list of activities for the cat during her stay in the shelter.
