Entering a municipality

Municipality is one of the business entities that you enter in PANTHEON. It allows you to define the parameters for paying contributions and creating the payment orders for the payment of contributions used in the Payroll module. Below is an example of how to enter a new ID for the municipality in the Subjects register.

CASE SUMMARY

The Accounting Department needs the data to pay contributions to the municipality. For this purpose, Head of Finance and Accounting Ashley as the person responsible will enter the municipality in the Subjects register so that she can later add the register for the payment of contributions.

  1. Creating a new municipality ID

  2. Importing municipality register for contributions

1. Creating a new municipality ID

The person responsible opens the Subjects register by opening the menu Settings | Subjects | Subjects to create a new ID for the municipality. This is done by performing the following steps:

  • By clicking on the button Insert record in the toolbar, empty fields are created so that a new municipality can be entered.
  • Then, data is entered as shown in the image below.

  • In the panel Municipality, the person responsible checks the Municipality checkbox, as shown in the image below.
  • Finally, the record is saved by clicking the Post edit button, which changes the color from green to grey.

2. Importing municipality register for contributions

Each municipality has its own register, which can be prepared in advance by the person responsible in the Accounting Department at the time of payroll preparation. To speed up the process, person responsible imports the register from the web server. This is done as follows:

  • In the toolbar of the panel Municipality, the person responsible clicks on the button Import/Export data.

  • A new window Download registers opens, as shown in the image below.

  • In the field Municipality, the person responsible selects the municipality, in this case: Ljubljana.

  • Then, in the section Import type, Adding is selected.

  • The person responsible clicks the button Transfer from server.

Once the data is imported, the person responsible can see it in a window on the panel Municipality, as shown in the image below.
