Automatic mass posting

Mass Posting of Received Invoices

010381.gif010411.gif010382.gif010383.gif

Mass posting enables merge of entries at automatic posting of invoices to create one journal (depending on DT settings) and then add entries in this journal. Example: Posting of whole year invoices is booked  on 12 journal, each for every month in year. Posting of invoices are later added to each journal.

This functionality is available for automatic posting of received, issued, POS invoices and customs.

No Merging

Default setting. Pantheon will not merge entries at posting of documents.

Merge by Days (Target Date is Invoice Date)

Pantheon merge entries by day at automatic posting. Target date of journal can be invoice date (Invoice Received at received invoice, invoice date at issued invoices, date at POS invoices,) or packing slip date (receiving date at purchase invoice, packing slip date at issued invoices, date at POS invoices).

Merge by Days (Target Date is last day of the month)

Pantheon merge entries by day at automatic posting. Target date of journal is the last day of the month for invoices to be posted.

Merge by Month (Target Date is Invoice Date)

Pantheon merge entries by month at automatic posting. One month is one journal. Target date for posting is last day of the posting month.

Settings for mass posting at automatic posting can be done at each document type in document type register.

If there is at least one mass posting on DT enabled, we will get new option at automatic posting mask beside Create and Append. This is Collect option.

As in the case of mass posting creates or adds entries in several journal simultaneously, after successfully completing the record displays a list of journals that were crated respectively. Double clicking on the journal number opens it.

Document types that are set for mass posting are colored blue in automatic posting of invoices window.

000001.gifWhen in authorizations there is set Confirmed Update authorization option for journal entry, new journal entry will be crated and postings will not be added to the existing one.
