Use cases for ePosting

ePosting OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is a system for recognizing the content of scanned invoices or PDF documents.

To use the ePosting service, you first need to activate it. Check offers and packages that match your needs.

 

To help you understand ePosting, the following use cases have been prepared:

Splitting PDF documents It often happens that you scan multiple invoices to one PDF document. By using the eWorkflow Split PDF for ePosting you can split such a PDF document into several separate documents.
Sending PDF documents to OCR reading and creating an eInvoice

This chapter shows example of using the eWorkflow OCR for ePosting. The process includes scanning a PDF document and converting the scanned data into an e-invoice.

This chapter is divided into two subchapters demonstrating the different methods of reading (parsing) PDF documents:

Importing the received e-invoice into PANTHEON using ePosting (OCR)

 The chapters above show how to convert data from a PDF document into an e-invoice. This chapter demonstrates how to use the eWorkflow Import received e-invoice to ePosting to import the e-Invoice into PANTHEON and how the scanning process can be improved by providing user feedback to the system with the eWorkflow ePosting machine learning.
