1. Downloading and Running the Installation Package

1.1. Downloading and Running the Installation Package

The user wants to download the PANTHEON software. In the default browser, the installation package starts downloading to the work station with a click on the link: http://ftp.datalab.si/demo/Install_HOST_SQL_SI_1002720.exe.

HINT

Other versions of the software can be found on the following website: http://ftp.datalab.si/demo/.

After the download is finished, the user opens the folder, where the file is downloaded (usually the default Downloads folder).

The user selects the Install_HOST_SQL_SI_1002720.exe file by right-clicking and selects Run as administrator.

1.2. Confirming User Account Control

The User Account Control window opens. The user confirms by clicking Yes.

1.3. Confirming InstallAware Wizard

The user waits for the Setup Wizard to load.

2. Setup Wizard

2.1. Welcome to DataLav Pantheon LS 10 Installation Package

The Setup Wizard opens. The first step displays general information and the installation process.

The user clicks the Next > button.

2.2. License Agreement

The License Agreement opens for review. The user reads the conditions of the License Agreement. The user's agreement is confirmed by selecting the checkbox.

The user continues by clicking the Next > button.

2.3. Setting Type

Next, the user must set the database name, where the user is pinned. The database name is sent by e-mail when the PANTHEON Cloud license is concluded.

Into the Database field, the user enters the database name and clicks the Next > button.

WARNING
  1. If the database name entered is incorrect, or the field is left empty, the configuration file Pantheon.ini will have to be manually fixed later. All Slovenian databases start with SI. Example: SI_DATALAB_DOO.
  2. You can check the database name on the UserSite, in the menu My data | Cloud (Hosting) | Databases and Users Overview.
  3. If multiple databases are loaded on the cloud, only select one of the databases, where you are connected as a user during installation of the hosting client, in the step where the system database name must be entered.

2.4. Target Folder

Next, the user selects the target folder on the disc, where the program will be installed.

By default, the Wizard offers C:\Datalab LS.

The user agrees with the target folder and clicks the Next > button.

2.5. Start Menu

Next, the user selects the folder name for the group in the Start menu in the Windows operation system.

The user selects whether the installation is meant for all users on the work station, or the current user only.

The user confirms the settings by clicking the Next > button.

2.6. Ready to Install

In this step, the user confirms the Wizard to start installing the program.

The user confirms the installation start by clicking the Next > button.

2.7. Installing DataLab Pantheon LS 10

The Wizard is installing the PANTHEON software.

The user waits for the installation to be finished.

2.8. DataLab Pantheon LS 10 Installation Finished

Installation is finished.

The user clicks the Next button and closes the Wizard.

3. Logging into PANTHEON

If the option to run PANTHEON after installing is selected in the last step of installation, the PANTHEON login window automatically opens.

In the login window, the user enters the username and password and clicks the Login button.

HINT

In the login window, the user can change passwords. Clicking the icon opens the form for changing passwords.

WARNING
  • If there are multiple databases downloaded on the Cloud, you must refresh the database list when first logging into PANTHEON. This is done by clicking the drop-down list at the company and select the Refresh button. On the list, PANTHEON shows the databases, where the user is pinned.
  • If the program uses sibilants incorrectly, see the instructions for the Windows system regional settings.
